Standard First Aid with CPR-BLS

This course provides your Standard First Aid certification and CPR-BLS certification.

CPR-BLS

✅ Renew every year

While your Standard First Aid certification remains valid for 3 years, CPR-BLS certification is commonly renewed annually to meet placement and employer requirements.

Maintaining both certifications helps ensure your clinical permit requirements remain up to date through Synergy Gateway and that you are prepared for upcoming placements.

Georgian College Standard First Aid and CPR With CPR-BLS and AED

Standard First Aid Recertification

This course is intended for students whose Standard First Aid certification is still valid and approaching its expiry date.

⚠️ Your current Standard First Aid certification must still be valid on the day of the course to be eligible for recertification.

This course renews your:

✅ Standard First Aid Certification (3-year renewal)

✅ CPR-BLS Certification

This course is NOT intended for annual CPR-BLS renewal only.

If your Standard First Aid certification is still valid but your CPR-BLS certification is expiring, you only need to register for a CPR-BLS Renewal course.

If your Standard First Aid certification has already expired, you must register for the full Standard First Aid & CPR-BLS course instead of a recertification course.
