Our Policies on Cancellations & Refunds

Public Courses

Thank you for choosing Barrie First Aid and CPR Training. Our refund policy for any of our public courses is that we will issue a full refund if you cancel more than 7 days in advance. If you are unable to attend one of our public courses after booking yourself in, we will not be able to issue a refund if it is cancelled 7 days or less before the date of the course. Special circumstances may apply for Covid-19 reasons.

If you wish to move from one course date to another and provide us more than 7 days notice we will do our best to accommodate you if possible. We are under no obligation to transfer your registration from one course to the other and if we cannot, we will not be able to issue a refund as per our refund policy.

When life gives you rain…
make a Rainbow!

Corporate/Private Courses

We will make every attempt to work with your company to change the date of the course, however we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so.

To receive a full refund, we must have 7 days notice prior to the start of a course.  If less than 7 days notice is given, we will not be able to refund the cost of the course.

Sometimes life gets in the way.
It’s OK, we understand.

Our Policies on Failing to Attend a course and showing up late to class!

Failure to attend a booked course!

If you fail to attend the class at the scheduled time, you will have to pay the full registration amount again and will be put on the course waitlist. To notify us that you will not be attending you must email info@barriefirstaidtraining.com or text 705-985-3478 with your name and email and reason why you are not attending before the start of the class. Because of Covid, we are strictly limited to the number of people we are allowed to have on a course. By not attending you are taking away from someone that is on our wait list that is in need of the course. **

Showing up late to class!

Please note, we very much value the time of our customers and trainers. Therefore, if you are going to arrive more than 15 minutes late to the start of the class you will not be allowed you to take the course and you will have to rebook at your own cost. Similarly if you are more than 10 minutes late returning from a break you will have to rebook the course, at your own cost, and start from the beginning. In order to run frequent courses we need to keep on a very tight schedule and not staying on time disrupts the whole course

Not completing the online training before your in class date!

Haven’t completed your online training before your in-class date!

You cannot attend the in-class portion until the online training is complete. If you show up to your in-class portion before the online training is complete, we will be unable to issue you a certificate legally.

If you book a date, and do not have the online training complete before class, you will have to rebook at a later date and pay again for the training.
